Quarterly Advisor Roundtables

For this DJCF/SWCF Advisor Roundtable, we welcome Jana L. Simons, Partner at Meadows, Collier, Reed, Cousins, Crouch & Ungerman. Ms. Simons will be presenting on “Lessons from the Rich and Famous: Celebrity Estate and Tax Blunders.”

Ms. Simons represents individuals and multi-generational families with a focus on tax planning, drafting complex wills and trusts, implementing wealth preservation strategies, and charitable giving. She helps clients achieve their objectives by designing functional solutions tailored to their specific goals.

Ms. Simons holds an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center with a concentration in Estate Planning. During her time at Georgetown, Ms. Simons served as an extern for the United States Department of Justice, Tax Division. While working on her J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law, she completed her Master’s in Personal Financial Planning, represented pro bono clients in tax controversy matters, and clerked for the Honorable Robert L. Jones, United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Texas. Ms. Simons is admitted to practice in Texas and is
