SWCF has accepted donations of a wide range of assets and is willing in some cases to hold these assets instead of requiring their immediate sale.
SWCF allows grants to be recommended to nearly all approved 501c3 charities throughout the US.
Individuals can open a donor-advised fund with a minimum of $5,000. Endowment and scholarship funds require a minimum of $25,000. There is no minimum for nonprofit agency funds. The minimum grant request is $50.
SWCF can serve as philanthropic advisory partner alongside your team to help high net worth families develop a mission, evaluate grantmaking, identify grantees, create a family philanthropic strategy, and more.

Personal Service & Size

With an experienced team of professionals, SWCF does not rely on a call center or large back office to administer our services to our partner financial institutions and advisors.
As a for-purpose organization, SWCF does not offer wealth management or personal investment advisory services to individuals.

Competitive Pricing

There is no requirement for donors to grant a certain amount or percentage back to SWCF as the sponsoring charity of their fund.
SWCF incurs expenses in operating your charitable funds. These include donor services, phone support, mailed notices, statements and communications, grants administration, and online services. To cover the costs associated with these services, the fund assesses a community development fee. Fees are based on account size. The minimum annual fee for all funds of SWCF is $240.
There is no annual fee charged for our private label solution, however a customized donor portal does incur a minimal design and operational fee.

What to Expect with a Private Label Solution

You create a name for your program (i.e.: the [your organization here] Charitable Giving Fund)
Fund Statements & Letters have your logo featured prominently throughout (Letterhead, headers) with disclosure that the program is administered by SWCF.
SWCF provides monthly digital fund statements, grant confirmations, and access to a fund advisor portal where grant requests can be made online.
- A fully customized portal is available for a one-time design fee and annual website administration fee.
- The standard SWCF donor portal is available to your clients at no additional cost but is not custom-branded.
Your organization continues to provide investment performance reports alongside the client’s other accounts.
Ongoing client service – we encourage advisors to speak directly with their client regarding portfolio investment and performance. Our team is available to manage service needs related to grantmaking matters.
